My brother-in-law, Shane, sent me an e-mail titled 40 tips for a better life. I picked my favorite 10 and am sharing them.
--Take a 10-30 minute walk every day and while you walk, smile. it's the ultimate anti-depressant.
--Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
--Try to make 5 people smile each day including yourself.
--Don't waste your precious energy on gossip or issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
--Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
--Your job won't take care of you when you are sick-your friends will; stay in touch.
--Do the right thing.
--Call your family often (or email them to death)
--Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
--Play more games and read more books than you did in 2007.

thanks for stalking my blog jill! I must admit, i have come across yours a few times, i can't believe how old savannah is, she looks like she fell off the rigtrup family tree for sure...what cute kids you have!
