I Raced for a cure on Saturday.
I ran the 5K race for a cure held at the Gateway mall. It was for a great cause and I was thrilled to do it; but it was also sad and even had to choke back tears for those who ran/walked with signs and pictures of loved ones that had passed away due to cancer. I personally have never lost a loved one from cancer. I hope and pray I will never have to.
My time was about the same as the 5K I did in Salt Lake a couple of weeks ago; which means I gotta keep running and training to get an even better score next time!
